Our History

  • CS Romania was founded in 1991 by a group of professors and engineers passionate about research in the field of real-time critical systems, under the name of AEIC (standing for Automation, Electronics, Informatics and Consulting)
  • During the early entrepreneurial years, AEIC developed as a provider of services and turnkey solutions for automation systems, delivering software applications, hardware and consulting for critical systems in Energy and Manufacturing
  • The opportunity of growth came in 1998, when CS acquired 76% of AEIC’s shares, with the mission of using the abundant talent available in the company and in Craiova, for building a near shore outsourcing center
  • As part of CS group, CS AEIC (the new denomination of AEIC) gained significant expertise in Aeronautics and Transportation as well as in providing outsourcing services for foreign IT&C companies
  • In 2006, CS group acquired all the shares of CS AEIC, and changed the denomination of the company in CS Romania
