We are recruiting a Junior Embedded Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering Services business line in Craiova, Embedded Software department. This organizational unit contributes to the development of on-board and industrial systems with strong real-time and operational safety constraints as well as to their operational implementation integrating safety concepts.
You are involved in the aeronautical activities of flight controls, digital regulation systems, onboard computers (braking, engine, steering, etc.) equipping planes such as the A320, A350 or Falcons. Depending on your skills and interests, you will be involved in the following tasks:
- C coding and
- Unit tests
- Validation (simulators, test bench)
Our projects meet DO178B/C standard.
Technical requirements and environment
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Knowledge for operating and development on Linux / Windows platforms
- Experience in using version control systems (e.g. SVN, Git) is a plus
- Experience in using bug tracking system is a plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages is a plus (e.g. Python, Perl, TCL, bash)
You are a 2nd/3rd/4th year student or graduate of a technical University (Computer Science or Automation) with an academic or personal background experience at a basic or medium level of C language, Excel, and Logic Design. Good communication skills, read and write in French and/or in English are a must at least at an operational level.
